Department Seeks to Hire Five Faculty Members
The Department of Computer Science invites applications for five faculty positions to begin in August 2016.
Four of the openings are tenure-track faculty positions at the assistant professor level. These positions require an earned Ph.D. in computer science or a related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in the areas of big data, cybersecurity, bioinformatics and computational biology, and data mining/machine learning. The fifth faculty position is for a lecturer. An earned Ph.D. in computer science is required. (Candidates who expect to receive their Ph.D. by December 2016 will be considered.) Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in teaching undergraduate computer science courses.
