Department Seeks to Hire Two Lecturers
The Department of Computer Science invites applications for two lecturer positions to begin in August 2016. These positions require an earned Ph.D. in computer science. (Candidates who expect to receive their Ph.D. by December 2016 will be considered.) Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in teaching undergraduate computer science courses.
Lecturers will be responsible for teaching a wide variety of undergraduate courses, including principles of computer science and programming, theoretical foundations of computer science, data structures, systems-level programming, and computer organization and assembly language programming. In addition, lecturers will participate in advising, course development, and lab supervision.
