Welcome To The DiMoS Website
The DiMoS goup at Georgia State University's Department of Computer Science conducts research in the areas of distributed and mobile computing. Our activities include the design and implementation of middleware for mobile devices, security in distributed environments, and the design and implementation of ad-hoc sensor networks. Primary application areas for these technologies are civilian health care and military communications. The facility includes a student lab with 24 hour access, a number of Linux and Windows workstations, as well as handheld and laptop computers. In addition, students and faculty have access to multiple high performance machines.
