Ph.D. Degree Requirements

Requirements for the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science include finishing any necessary foundation coursework and completing 48 hours of graduate-level coursework. In addition, students must go through a qualifying process, form a dissertation committee, and pass a candidacy examination. Finally, each student must complete and defend a dissertation.
